Eighth AFENET Scientific Conference Supplement

The Journal of Interventional Epidemiology and Public Health (JIEPH) is publishing this special issue to document the ideas, field experiences and best practices shared during the 8th AFENET International Scientific Conference, held Mombasa, Kenya 2023 with the theme: Strengthening Public Health Systems in Africa Towards Enhanced Global Health Security.
The conference brought together over 900 scientists, academia, policymakers and researchers from 45 countries across the world to discuss public health challenges, and ideas on the latest solutions and innovations in a post-COVID-19 pandemic context.
This special issue provides stakeholders easy access to the full version of the ideas shared during the conference to inform public health actions on the African continent and beyond.
