- The editorial office will reach out to you depending on the stage of your manuscript in the editorial process.
- Some would be invited to resubmit their manuscript in the new system for a better user experience.
- If you have not received an initial decision on your manuscript following peer review, the journal will reach out to you to register in the new system and complete the process in the new system.
- If you have specific situations and want clarifications, you can reach out to the editorial office at editor@afenet-journal.net for guidance and prompt action
- Those with manuscripts in the advanced stage would be completed in the existing manuscript management platform
- If you encounter any challenges using the new system, kindly send an email to editor@afenet-journal.net or interact on WhatsApp by sending a message to +2348060441978
- The new system has an inbuilt guide at every step during registration and manuscript submission. Authors are encouraged to take advantage of these. In case of any challenges, kindly contact the editorial office for assistance. They are proprietary generic videos provided by Aries System, which could be useful, but the specific configurations for JIEPH may not be fully addressed
- There are no downtimes during this transition; the new system would be up and running on the go-live date alongside the old system, but all new submissions would be handled through the new system.
- No, the previously submitted manuscripts are not immediately accessible in the new system. However, authors with manuscripts at certain stages of the editorial process would be approached and encouraged to create accounts in the new system, while those at the advanced stage in the old system would be encouraged to finalize their work in the old system. If you are not sure or have not been approached, you can also reach out to the editorial team at editor@afenet-journal.net with the manuscript ID to receive prompt feedback on what to do next.
- Manuscripts already out for peer review and for which the reviewers have accepted to review would continue and review reports would be received in the old system.
- All manuscripts submitted in the new manuscript will be reviewed using the new system and reviewer cREDit will be automated
- JIEPH publishes in multiple languages. However, we are currently only publishing in English except for special issues (supplements). For more details, kindly consult the Instruction for Authors
- JIEPH does not currently charge any APC or submission fees.
